An anonymous woman from Samaria discovered the truth firsthand when she had a conversation with Jesus. It was apparently a routine day in her life. She went to the well to draw water as she had done on numerous occasions before. One can almost imagine the water pot that she carried with her. It was more than likely a large earthenware pitcher that she carried on her shoulder or maybe on her hip. Her intentions were simply to go to the well that Jacob, her forefather had centuries earlier dug. Her goal was to fill her water pot with fresh water for the day. But fortunately, she was about to have a talk with Jesus. Her life was about to change for the better. You see that woman went to the well looking for drinking water. She left the well with living water. The conversation that she had with Jesus turned her life around forever. She discovered that the saying is true, great things can happen when people talk. And this is why it is so important that we share Jesus now.
