Siegfried Fischbacher (born 1939) was a member of the magic act, Siegfried and Roy, along with Roy Horn (born 1944). They performed with white lions, white tigers, elephants and other exotic animals in their popular Las Vegas show at the Mirage Resort and Casino. Their story was told in the 1992 book written with Annette Tapert, Siegfried and Roy: Mastering the Impossible. In 2003, his partner Roy was attacked by one of their white tigers. They a made a final appearance in 2009 at a benefit performance for the Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health in Las Vegas. They retired from show business in 2010. His partner Roy died on May 8, 2020 at the age of 75. Siegfried died at his home on January 13, 2021. He was 81.
