Luis Silva is an ambitious teenage boy with nothing more than a guitar and the dream of using his music to get himself out of the slums where he works in the fields for just a few dollars a day.While Luis spends his free time buried in his music and chasing his dream, he is blind to the fact that the cartel is gaining power and threatening everyone he cares about. His friend Alex tries to persuade him to join Los Guerreros, a group of civilians who aim to put a stop to the Cartel's dominance and needless violence by disarming them and driving them out of their neighborhoods. Luis may be blind to what the cartel is doing, but he is not blind to the injustice of his country. He begins to gain popularity through his music, but its message of freedom and desire for a better life is misunderstood as a cry for a revolution in the already fragile society. When he returns to work in the fields and witnesses the death of three innocent workers, he realizes the need for Los Guerreros and joins the fight as their leader. Now, outnumbered, outgunned and fighting against an enemy who has the president in their pocket, Luis and his soldiers might have taken on more than they are ready for, but they would rather die fighting than end up another helpless victim.
