More DescriptionSister's Just Love Strong is a story about Love, Loss and that unbreakable bond of sisterhood. Sisterhood is a bond that if broken can tear a family apart or keep that family together. The Simmon's Sisters are the most loved people on the South Side of Chicago. There's Jamilia, Jackie, Jerri and Jessie. All of the women are BBW's (Big Beautiful Women) that were raised and well loved by the Mother they all adored and the Father they never wanted to live without. Ten years after losing their beloved parents in a tragic fire the sisters are still coming to terms with that loss. As Jerri, Jackie and Jessie began to grow into beautiful, strong, independent women their oldest sister Jamilia became more involved in making sure all of her sisters got an education and a job. In the ten years the sisters went from parentless to Jamilia becoming the mother, father, judge, jury, disciplinarian, and overall ruler of the house, finances and the lives of her sisters. Whenever there is a problem or issue Jamilia must fix it even if it is not fixable. Jamilia made a silent promise to take care of her Sisters no matter what and Jamilia has kept that promise. The problem is that now that the Sisters are grown Jamilia can't let go. The sisters don't feel resentful toward Jamilia until she begins to force them to choose between living their lives their way or living their lives to keep Jamilia happy. Jamilia pushes and pushes, all the while testing the Sisterly bond they all have had since birth. The moment Jamilia is forced to take a back seat because her Sister's want to take care of themselves, the bond the sisters have had all these years begins to fall apart. Jamilia believes that her sisters can't live without her because Jamilia can't live without them. When her sisters are made aware of the fact that Jamilia won't let the Mother in her rest and that Jamilia refuses to allow the sisters the freedom they want and need they take matters into their own hands. They all begin to take their lives back and decide to keep Jamilia completely out of the loop. When tragedy strikes the Simmon's Sister's Jamilia takes the blow so hard that she begins to shut down and blame herself and Jackie for all that they are going through. Instead of Jamilia listening to her sisters and working it out with them Jamilia feels angry, betrayed, lost, confused and helpless. Jamilia begins treating her sisters, especially Jackie, like strangers and blames Jackie for everything as her Sisters decide to live the lives they have wanted for so long. When all is said and done the Simmons Sisters realize that Jamilia has been in control and the leader of them for so long that she may not remember how to just be a sister. The Simmons sisters decide to take Jamilia on a journey to find the real Jamilia again. The sisters go through whatever is needed to get Jamilia back to being a sister by showing her what a sister is supposed to be. The Simmons sisters take Jamilia on a journey that teaches Jamilia how to be a sister and the true meaning of Sister Hood. Jackie, Jerri and Jessie show Jamilia that the test of life come and go but the bond of Sisterhood will never be broken.
