When Brad returns from Vietnam and finds her infidelity is true, his life becomes a struggle to forgive and and hold his family together. Then he learns of a second betrayal, more grievous to him than infidelity. This he is unable to forgive. A simple man, one of the good guys and stranded in a strange limbo, he strives to maintain his integrity and morality as an army officer, devoted father and husband.
