Excited to return home, they saved money to buy a home. But it was not to be, the day they were to sign the papers, Helen lost her dear husband to a heart attack (1944). Helen then left Salt Lake City, and moved to Hawthorne, California to be near her children.Helen remained strong and valiant in her faith and Testimony. She took joy and happiness in serving others.
