More Description WOW!!! What a find, this truly rare volume has been lovingly restored and reissued by the team at busted husky...because we love all things magic. In the late 1800s, to the middle of the nineteenth century mediums, soothsayers and spiritualists were making a tidy side income by delivering messages from the other side...i.e. your dead relatives... to anybody who would listen, or hand over a small fee for their services. During séances, these declarations from beyond the grave would frequently appear on slates. However, the type of magic supplied by mediums was little more than that...tricks. Author William E. Robinson was a talented magician who worked as a stage manager and assistant to Alexander Herrmann and Harry Kellar. Much of this trickery, shenanigans and messing about with people's emotions and grief is addressed in this book, Spirit Slate Writing and Kindred Phenomena, released in 1898. Our new edition contains all the original drawings, the volume has been reprinted 2022 as part of the Busted Husky Classics Of Magic Collection
