By deconstructing superficial time-bound narratives drawn from the constitutional history of the two orders, a complex, multifaceted, and finely nuanced picture of practice and scholarship emerges. The author's aim is thereby to provoke renewed thought on received interpretations and provide reason for a revised understanding of 20th century German constitutionalism. German description: In diesem Band sind zehn Beitrage Horst Dreiers aus den Jahren 2000 bis 2014 zusammengefasst, die die Eigenart des Staatsrechts sowohl unter der Weimarer Reichsverfassung als auch unter dem Nationalsozialismus herauspraparieren.
