Understandably Abel's crew and staff are caught up in this most onerous decision, since it will mean life-changes for all involved.Lawrie and Jon make a chilling discovery on the island, into the fallout of which Cass and Cato are inevitably pulled, with the realization that both tunnel-troubles and Espiri-influences are considerably more far-reaching than they'd anticipated. And, the repercussions of the discovery follow Cass back to Pilothead Sound in a terrifying way without Lawrie currently present to arbitrate; Cato must fill in for him, though he is facing a dramatic change as well.
