But if you're only paying attention to your muscles for strength YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.
There are certain exercises that challenge your body as a whole, your entire structure. Not just the muscles but the tendons, ligaments, joints and bones. Partials are one way of training this but not the only way. Using leverage and the inverse relationship of stability/mobility are some of the other methods I've been playing with.
It can be some extremely challenging work but working outside the box with these exercises will make you stronger all over.
