More DescriptionIt is difficult to calculate the rate at which people are being robbed in today's world. The powerful countries are attacking the innocent people with the intention of occupying other countries. Their lives and property became valueless. During such a crisis period, our conscience is gradually sinking into a dark sea. Even during such critical hours man is constantly engaged in the constant pursuit of finding and establishing beauty in every vein of the world and nature. The attempt to find and present that elusive beauty started from the primitive cave dwellers through art. And this art is perpetual and everlasting . Evolution revolves around everything, including poetry, art, drama and dance. It is universally accepted today that poetry is the strongest branch of art. Maleka Ferdous, a poetess with a peddler of poetry, is constantly looking for beauty , in the belief of embodying her creation. And at the time of searching beauty, the poetess herself sometimes flies away as a white feather, sometimes sits still on the roof as a teenager, and breaks the silence of thousands of soundless birds inside her chest. Poet Maleka Ferdous's Beside using prose style as the medium of presentation in her poetry, Poet Maleka Ferdous has given equal importance her aesthetic expression properly in her art . For this reason, there is always a hidden source of expression in the prosaic language of her poems, even in the midst of all the ambiguity and fog. A special feature of Maleka's poetry is that the style of expression is more autobiographical or individualistic than biological. Her individualism is clear. The poetess at this time became a mythical or symbolic. She has chosen as subjects the sweetness and beauty of love-nature, folk elements and words, the solitude of night, the leaves of trees, the eloquence of day, the chirping of birds. In fact, in the water, on the ground, in the air, in the space, she wanders about poetry. And in this way Maleka continues to establish a link of urban civilization with the ever famillier nature of shady rural Bengal. In this case, she has been successful in many parts. And perhaps this is why various critics do not hesitate to call her a "pure utterance of urban civilization." But in her poetry, along with the urban-consciousness, she is constantly drawing the abhorrent background of rural Bengal in the abstract image of language with very skillful hands. Returning to this nature, she did not deviate from her contemporary society, politics, and mutual social realities. In fact, in the shadow of the rural light, she has very successfully spoken about the eternal suffering of the city. Here chronology, social sense, philosophy and running movies are intimately involved. The language and greetings of her multi-coloured and multi-linear poetry are multidimensional as well as deeply unconventional. Just as Maleka embodies rain in her heart, in own glory, so the archeological memory engraved in the form of rivers, nature and flowing Bengal fascinates her deeply in the depths of her mind. While editing her book of poetry which is translated into multi languages, I have the rare privilege of reading almost all of her poems. As much as there is fluidity in Maleka's poetry, her own imagery is also manifested in her own glory.
