More DescriptionIt was during the early part of last winter, as I recall it now, yes, a Sunday morning. I was out walking along the canal, as was my habit. It had been a dreadful summer, for although we had little rain, it been high winds and cloudy skies. This had resulted in there being little narrow boat traffic. The folks upon them always displaying their flags of many countries, were always a happy bunch, waiving and calling greetings. I had sorely missed their banter until now. The autumn had been much better and so it was, into winter and thus the visitors were back. They were as friendly a bunch as all others. I came upon one group dining on the toe path. To my surprise they invited me to sit a while, take part in some lunch and to sip a glass of wine. I was even offered a choice red or white. They enquired into my background, after being enlightened they begged me to stay to tell of the events I had experienced. I thus related a very strange episode that my wife and I had encountered at this very same spot, it was some years ago now.,Plying me with more wine they clearly wished to hear my narrative This book contents those stories. I informed them this would take some time as it involved several interesting revelations. With more wine being poured I was thus implored to tell all, in reality I was pleased to do so.I invite you to join the festive party to hear this once in a lifetime stories.
