More DescriptionThis software is a spreadsheet-based tool designed to help users evaluate effects of chemical additions on the stability of water and predict changes in water quality parameters, such as pH and calcium carbonate precipitation potential. It allows engineers to quickly and accurately model water quality, corrosiveness and stability. The software is an updated version of the RTW Model for Corrosion Control and Process Chemistry 4.0, which is used by consulting engineers and water utilities around the world. Tetra Tech (RTW) software uses calcium carbonate chemistry to evaluate water stability and to predict changes in water stability and other water quality factors resulting from chemical treatment approaches. Included in this package is the RTW Blending Application allows users to determine the characteristics of blended water from two separate sources, while accounting for the equilibrium of the carbonate buffering system. A tutorial is included as well as free technical support. Runs in the Microsoft Windows® operating environment.
