More Description Rangers from the 75th Regiment
Lethal, quick, and adaptable, the 75th Ranger Regiment is equipped to handle a variety of intricate, collaborative special operations missions. The Army's main direct-action raiding unit now is the Ranger regiment. Each of the four geographically distributed Ranger battalions is always equipped for battle, both physically and psychologically robust, and ready to take on our nation's foes.
They may perform airborne and aerial assault operations, seize critical territory like airfields, damage strategic infrastructure, and capture or kill foreign adversaries. Rangers are equipped to retain outstanding proficiency, experience, and preparedness, and they are capable of leading squad to regimental-size operations.
The regiment is still made up entirely of volunteers, and it undergoes a rigorous screening and selection procedure before beginning combat-focused training. The 75th Ranger Regiment is a team of teams that proudly serves the country.
They are located in:
Hunter Army Airfield, Hunter Army Ranger Regiment, 1st Battalion.
Fort Lewis, Washington's 2nd Battalion of the 75th Ranger Regiment.
Fort Benning, Georgia's 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment.
Fort Benning, Georgia's Regimental Special Troops Battalion
Rangers Set the Standard!
The "Big five philosophy"--which stresses the importance of mobility, small-unit tactics, medical training, physical fitness, and marksmanship--is upheld by the 75th Ranger Regiment.
RASP 1, an eight-week school that prepares soldiers in the fundamental abilities and tactics necessary to function in the 75th Ranger Regiment, is attended by soldiers with the rank of private through sergeant. Rangers who successfully complete this course will be equipped with the necessary knowledge, experience, and self-assurance to join the 75th Ranger Regiment.
RASP 2 is a three-week training that is required of all officers, warrant officers, and senior non-commissioned officers (staff sergeant to command sergeant major). Its goal is to identify the greatest leadership throughout the Army. This training teaches participants the operational methods and standards of the Ranger Regiment and evaluates the fitness of mid- and senior grade officers for deployment to the regiment.
The specific objectives, particular techniques, and tools that make the Regiment exceptional are all covered in this course. Those who successfully complete this training will be enlisted in the 75th Ranger Regiment.
