Do you buy a new planner at least once a year but find that you still like your computer best? That's me! Throughout the years of studying for my doctorate, I tried every type of planner and task manager I could find. I needed to track work, home and school. In the end, I returned to the basic Outlook task manager and calendar for daily work...but something was missing. I was still buying planners!! Why? I missed the best parts of a planner. The part that helps me see where I've been and where I'm going. So, I went on the hunt for the perfect planner. I bought every kind of planner I could find. Some had too much daily detail. Some had too little overview. What I wanted was the 35,000-foot level - every week. A pause that would help me see where I'd been and where I was going, tracking my top priorities and moving forward on what matters. Finally, I decided to make one myself - after all, I was buying a $40 quarterly planner and only using a few pages a week.
