Their suspicion that his death was actually linked to the rum-running operation the boy's father was involved in during Prohibition takes them in a far more ominous direction: one that points to Mrs. Marie Kerr, the boy's mother, and Dale being mixed up in the heroin trade. Vehemently denying his brother would ever become involved with the illegal drug business, the Kerr Gang is forced to confront unnerving evidence such was the case.
