More Description
Amelia Earhart did not die in a watery crash as everyone supposed. Amelia Earhart is alive and well and the cause of the Earth's environmental problems.
In a coastal village, a thirteen-year-old girl has found that the cooling breeze that once made her hometown bearable has gone missing, and worse still, her boyfriend has let it be known that he never loved her. After a stormy break up at the water's edge, Bessie slips on rain slicked stones and falls into the ocean. Instead of sinking beneath the icy waves, this young girl is held up by a hastily made waterbed. The ocean congealed to save her.
On the back of the ocean, Bessie is brought, through a cosmically aligned gateway, to the land of elements. In a world where rain is taught when to fall and fire decides when to burn, Bessie is given a mission: she must stop the person that Amelia Earhart has become.
