More DescriptionEach one will be given their turn at the fountain of truth and knowledge. What they do with the opportunities presented to them is their own responsibility as they have, always, free will. Each will be presented the opportunity to awaken to spiritual wisdom. Each must be presented this opportunity. It is the bond between man and his Creator which will never be broken by the Creator. We must know ourselves physically because where the physical body fits into all this is in the ability to enable the mind to work better. We must know ourselves emotionally and this is something that most people do know. We must know ourselves mentally because if the mental body does not have any interest in changing guidelines or spiritual concepts, then there is not much hope for growth in this person. We must know ourselves spiritually and to do this one must determine if the guidelines they are living their lives by are still viable for where they are in life at that time. Rather than belonging to any formalized religious worship congregation, your God should be a very private thing and you should form your own "religion" in your mind - with a feeling of peace that nature gives you. Let up on religious theory as far as organized formal worship and lay out your concepts yourself between you and your God.It should be knowing deep inside that you must take responsibility for every aspect of your own life - "the buck stops here" sort of thing, meaning you can no longer pass responsibility for your actions or reactions on to anyone else. There is none "above" or "over" you in authority. YOU ARE YOUR OWN GOD!This volume of the New Millennium NoteBooks, "The Enlightenment of Self-Knowledge," gives us much insight into ourselves with a series of readings done by Norma dealing with attitudes, goals and karma. We learn that our attitudes can be carried over from former lives or gained in this life by influences from our family members. Our goals are most definitely brought in with us as having been decided on the inner planes before incarnating this time. We also learn that karma is a feeling of guilt on our part that makes us want to atone for our actions. This guilt could be coming from any number of past lives or could be from this life alone. In this book we are given a 100 question AQ Test (Attitude Quotient Test) to help us determine attitudes that need to be corrected. We also are given a set of Discovery Work Sheets to help us learn about ourselves which cover a whole year's activities.
