"Ashlyn." She heard Luke's voice echo through the house. Quickly she made her way from the den into the foyer where he was. "How was your day?" She asked because that was what she always asked. More Description"Ashlyn." She heard Luke's voice echo through the house. Quickly she made her way from the den into the foyer where he was.
"How was your day?" She asked because that was what she always asked. He pushed her hands away from his tie.
"What did you do for lunch today?" There was anger in his tone. Pure and honest anger, she was not sure what to say.
"I was going to meet Gabby but she had a flat tire and cancelled on me." That was the truth but she had to admit that it sounded rehearsed to her own ears.
"So you did not meet anybody?" Luke knew and she was not sure why the information made him this angry.
"Her father came to tell me that she was going to be late." Ash stood with her hands at her sides she felt the fear rise inside her. Luke pulled his phone from his pocket and held it up to her. There was an image of her in Mr. Hudson's arms and he was kissing her.
"I can explain." She started but he shook his head at her and put the phone back in his pocket.
"The first time you step foot out of this house and you are meeting him. Then you are going to stand here and lie to my face about it. You know I don't like him." Luke all but yelled that last part at her.
"I don't like him either, Luke, and I don't know why he is doing this to me." It was bad, it looked bad. It probably looked a lot worse than it was.
"Get out." Luke's voice was cold and flat there was nothing in his eyes but an anger and that scared the life out of her.
"What?" Because she was not sure that she had heard him correctly.
"Get out of my house, I will not live with a whore." Luke's voice was so very cold.
"I am your wife." Ash tried to keep the tears in check. It was not happening. The idea that he thought she was a whore stung her so very deep.
"You cheated on me." Luke accused and she knew that there was nothing she could say that would help her now. He was going to believe that picture and he was not going to listen to her at all.
"Call Jason." She started but he was not going to listen to her.
"Out!." He yelled and she headed for the garage. Thank fully she had left her purse in the car. She did not stop to get shoes, she made her way to the car and dropped into the drivers seat. Backing out of the garage she wondered how she was going to fix any of this.
