They promised to meet again in seven years, but when he arrived to keep that promise, Zakkaerion was heartbroken to discover that Melissa had moved away. Fourteen years after their first meeting Melissa finally returns to her childhood home-but like most humans upon reaching adulthood-can no longer see him. Knowing that his time on Earth will be short, Zakk is desperate to renew contact. To Aiden, his impulsive companion, the answer is simple; using a magical object called a dreamthorn will allow a human to once again see all Fae. Zakk hesitates, but Aiden makes the decision for him.
