Dan G. Tripps held the position of sport psychologist and professor at Seattle Pacific University. He has published dozens of articles and books on the physiological and psychological aspects of sport performance. Dr. Tripps was the CEO of the 1984 Olympic Scientific Congress held in conjunction with the Los Angeles Olympic Games, the founder of Sport for Understanding, and coach to many world-class swimmers and triathletes. Currently, he was the project manager for The Raven, a world record attempt in human-powered flight, served as a consultant in leadership and achievement to business and government, maintained an active schedule of public speaking, and served as a member of the Board of Directors for the Bellingham Festival of Music. Dr. Tripps held a Ph.D. from the University of Oregon and a Master of Arts degree from Stanford University in Education.
