More DescriptionAn aging Hollywood star becomes straddled with ailimony he can no longer afford from 6 ex-wives. He had been very generous with his alimony settlements acting like the A parts were always going to be coming his way. Because of his increased age the parts have ceased to flow in his direction. His accountant is able to sell off some properties that he has, and convinces him to try to settle with a lump sum payment, but only one wife goes for this proposition.Desperate for some work, Donald Morehead, accepts the lead in a television series, Peter Pan the comedy. Because of his size he is just right for the part. The initial order for the series is 4 weeks because the executives are weary of it becoming a success. The series fools everyone, and the series becomes a phenomenal success bolting Donald Morehead back into the spotlight.Attending a celebrity party, a gunshot rings out as three couples exit the soiree. No one is struck, but no one has any idea of who the intended victim was. One of the men exiting the party is a plastic surgeon who gets invited to Hollywood parties because he can identify who is who.The detective assigned to the case, Detective Cartier writes screenplays in his spare time, so this becomes a prime chance to pitch his screenplays while he investigates the crime.Ultimely, he resolves the crime with the culprit being a Hollywood celebrity himself, although from the administrative side.
