Author Biography
Leuchter, Fred A. (Author)
Robert Faurisson was born in Surrey, England on January 25, 1929. He was educated at the Sorbonne and became a professor of French literature at the University of Lyon. He wrote an opinion article entitled The Problem of the Gas Chambers, or the Rumor of Auschwitz, which appeared in Le Monde in 1978. The article launched his public career as an anti-Semitic propagandist whose denial of the Holocaust earned him multiple prosecutions. His memoir was published in 1980. He died on October 21, 2018 at the age of 89.
