More DescriptionWho would think being in a cage would set free you? Yet, if we look at life, quite often we are caged within perhaps, our own paradigm paralysis. We are controlled initially by our tribal influences, then perhaps by our cultures. Our siblings, and their influences may even control us. And then we begin to really feel our 'oats' of being an independent individual, breaking away from family, and parental conformity. What then do we do? We follow our peers.
We don't solely create our own culture. Well, we do. But most of us really don't. Why? It's too uncomfortable. Everyone, deep down, wants to belong to something. Many will quite often choose a 'good' label to be associated with. However, there are those times when someone portrays such a level of non-conformity, which wouldn't be criminal. Yet is quite often condemned.
It is condemned not because it is illegal. But because it is different. Even with a slight paradigm shift away from the norm of society or from their own culture, the person may receive 'headshakes' that they never thought would occur. Especially for a woman, the tribal, and societal repercussions of 'breaking away' from the family morays and norms are great.
