More DescriptionAt last thought Steve Parker as the last contaner of antique furnishins was parked in the loading dock of Giddeon's Gallery. That afternoon a wealthy buyer buys three paintings and that night he's attacked, left for dead, and the paintings stolen. Steve tells the Chicago detectives those paintings created a problem in England and suspected one or more of them might conceal a masterpiece so he arranged for an X-ray examintion of each painting. There were no concealed masterpieces, but the X-rays did expose a substantial cache of diamonds in three frames. Government agents tie the diamonds to an Arab terrorist group's attempt to purchase a shipload of munitions, but Steve questions the link and survival becomes his immediate concern.
