I cannot begin to express to you the importance of the truths in this study. I don't mean the study itself. I mean the truths of God's Word, the Gospel and our position in Christ. They are completely life-altering. They alter what we see, how we respond and where we put our eyes of faith every day. These truths have and are actively changing me. I have come to understand an extremely important truth: we never move away from the truths of our position in Christ and the power of the Gospel, instead we grow deeper into them. This study is a call for change. Change in the way we view our Jesus, others and ourselves. It is a call to change what we invest in. It is a call to change how we respond and react to the world around us. Finally, it calls us to change where we find our value, worth and purpose...and where we look for love and acceptance. I'll warn you: it's a slow change, which is another reason for review! This workbook is simply designed as a tool to get you into the Word of God and thinking. Each week there will be five prompts:Threads: This is your study time. Each week there will be a series of texts that will thread through Scripture. This is time for you to pause, pray, read, and observe as you prayerfully study the Word. You will read each text from two versions of the Bible. Take time to mark a few words and answer the corresponding questions from the text. Ponder: Each week you will spend time considering and thinking through the "Threads" of the week.Weave into the Heart: Each week you will be encouraged to write out and memorize a verse of the week, getting it into your heart!Praying the Word: This prompt will encourage you to pray and process with the Lord.Weave in Life: Finally, each week I'll encourage you to apply and share a truth you are learning as the "Threads" come together into a beautiful masterpiece. I pray this will be a tool, in His Hand, to guide, teach and challenge you to find your value, worth and purpose in Christ alone and what He is creating...The Masterpiece-a single, amazingly intricate, divinely creative, eternally magnificent Masterpiece that you are called to be your individual part of.
