Ken Goddard was previously employed in Southern California as a deputy sheriff, forensic scientist, crime scene investigator and police crime lab director. He is currently the director of the National Fish and Wildlife Forensics Laboratory in Ashland, Oregon. In 1984 Goddard hit the New York Times bestseller list with BALEFIRE. He is also the author of several successful novels on designer drugs, demented burglars, CIA environmental plots and federal wildlife undercover agents that mirror his own work in police and wildlife forensics.
