Author Biography
Patterson, James (Author)
James O. Born is an American author, born in Florida. He is a graduate of Florida State University and earned his Master's degree in psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi. Before becoming an author, he was a US Drug Agent (DEA) and later a Special Agent with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. He worked undercover with the Special Operation's Team (SWAT). He has also worked as an advisor to writers and TV shows. Walking Money was his first novel, published in 2004. He is the author of Burn Zone, Field of Fire, Shock Wave and Escape Clause which won the gold medal in the inaugural Florida Book Awards, in 2007. Under the pseudonym, James O'Neal, his work includes The Human Disguise and The Double Human. He is the co-author with James Patterson of the bestsellers, Hidden: A Mitchum Story and Haunted.
