More DescriptionSince 1867, when Alaska was purchased from Russia, the dream of every Alaskan has been a rail link to the continental U.S. through Canada. GenTechno, a mega-corporation, designs and builds a magnetic-levitation train that will travel the almost 3,000 miles from Fairbanks to Seattle at speeds of over 300 mph. Suspended under the concrete track are pipelines carrying precious water and natural gas to the “lower 48.” In Georgia Strait off Vancouver Island, Greg Majewski's family is killed in a boat collision with a fast-ferry owned by GenTechno, which unjustly blames Majewski's young son for the accident. In his search for the truth, Majewski finds an unlikely ally in a former Canadian army sniper, decorated for his prowess in Afghanistan. They threaten to turn the new line into a 3,000-mile inferno. This ignites an international manhunt spearheaded by Special Forces teams from two countries.
