Mary Jordan is a reporter for The Washington Post. She and her husband Kevin Sullivan have been correspondents in Tokyo and Mexico. They won a George Polk Award in 1998 for their reporting about the Asian financial crisis and the Pulitzer Prize for international reporting in 2003 for stories about the lack of the rule of law in Mexico and the horrific conditions in the Mexican criminal justice system. Their books include The Prison Angel: Mother Antonia's Journey from Beverly Hills to a Life of Service in a Mexican Jail and Hope: A Memoir of Survival in Cleveland.
