More DescriptionSince the birth narratives found in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke are written ambiguously, and could be interpreted by a Jew as saying Jesus was Joseph's natural son just as easily as a Catholic could interpret them to be saying Jesus was adopted by Joseph, I initially came to the conclusion that Judaism is correct, Jesus was not born of a virgin birth since ... the New Testament does not explicitly say so.
However, after studying orthodox Judaism, I came to the conclusion that "sola scriptura' is unscriptural. Which means the Catholics could be right in saying the Marion doctrines, specifically the Virgin Birth doctrine, was passed down orally from the Apostles. And no one can prove that claim wrong. And as a matter of fact, Protestants had better stop trying to prove that claim wrong, because there is not one single "virgin birth" statement in the gospels of Matthew or Luke. Not one. Fact check it for yourself and see.
