By 1969, the Apollo mission to the moon captivated the United States and the world, but the US Navy was undertaking a search for Rudolf's sunken U-boat, only to be thwarted by East German spies. Enlisting the help of Rudolf, another search is made to recover the prototype torpedo. Rudolf's sons, Will and Jack, join their father in this sometimes-humorous adventure from Southern California to the Atlantic coast of Georgia.
