More Description Every community and people in the whole world have their history about their origins, customs, culture and traditions. Ameru of Kenya believe that they were created by God in the Middle East and lived there for millenniums. However, after many races disagreed and caused wars, Ameru decided to escape and cross the Red Sea. Their escape found them settling in Egypt.
In Egypt, they settled and advanced to be expert Pyramids' builders. The rulers in Egypt demanded to know and understand the codes for Pyramids' construction. Ameru refused to surrender their knowledge and instead decided to escape once again from Egypt. Indeed, they escaped after meticulous plans and their execution by people who endangered their lives to save their community from extinction.
Their escape landed the community in Mboa (Manda Island) Kenya where they lived for nearly six centuries before they were disturbed by a people they called Nguuntune (the Portuguese) who hunted them as slaves for export to Americas from AD 1500's, until they decided again to escape from Mboa.
In Mboa, their third home was surrounded by water where there lived an Octopus (Nkunga in Kimeru) and to escape they had to eliminate the Octopus because the monster would not allow them to escape because it used to swallow those who ventured into the Ocean.
Those who eliminated the monster were a young man who teamed up with a young girl who was an expert singer to persuade the monster with her songs to venture and dare the swiftness of the young man who slashed all eight tongues of the monster which died after the long struggle in one day.
After eliminating the monster the community escaped from Mboa and meandered in the wilderness before reaching their present home in Meru.
In all their epic escapes Ameru were organized by heroes and heroines who saved the community from dangers by their enemies. These are the icons now being expounded upon and remembered in this book so that people might know their roles in different epochs of Ameru in history. Ameru have a long and interesting history.
