In this second installment of The Specialist Volume II: Engulfed by Disaster, we learn of the second phase of Stan’s mission. Known to his handlers as “The Specialist” for his ability to take on the most delicate of special assignments, Stan is assigned with the task of finding corroborating evidence linking the major players in the 2010 Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill to a radical conspiracy involving rogue members of the Army Corps of Engineers and the Titans of the Oil and Gas Industry to depopulate the Gulf Coast and poison its waters for future fishing. First assaulted by Katrina, the next tragedy to come was the allegedly “accidental” explosion of the Macondo Deepwater Well and the subsequent illegal use of the deadly dispersant Corexit 9500. With fears mounting over the safety of seafood, a new danger has presented itself… a growing sinkhole located in the bayous of Assumption Parish in a salt dome brine well near 1,5 billion gallons of Butane capable of causing the equivalent of the largest thermonuclear explosion possible by the U.S. In Volume II, Engulfed by Disaster, the special of the day is Brined Duck and Sausage Gumbo over Mustard Potato Salad.
