It does not attempt to offer all the answers because no book can do that, but in the focus on principles it hopes to create an awareness of the nature of parenthood. It hopes to show that parenting need not be daunting nor terrifying and can be fulfilling and effective. Parents can be good for children, and children can make their parents proud.
