More DescriptionThis is an advanced reader's copy which possess the first part of what the full book will start with. This book is set for a final release before 2023, but a final date has not been made. Half the profit made from the sales of this will be donated to help Ukraine's front lines.
The Town Crier is a modern love story between Homer, and Elizabeth, displaying an unknowing bond that the two made via technology. Homer and Elizabeth had matched on a dating app, seven years prior to when this story takes place. They have never meet in person, but have communicated with each other over social media and over the phone. Elizabeth is currently a freshman in college, so she has stopped believing a fantasy man could actually be a real man. Homer is a senior in high school, and sees he is at a crossroads in life but doesn't know what to do next.
As texts become less frequent, will one of the characters go out of their comfort zone to see if love at a swipe, is also love at first sight? Not knowing what the other person is going through in their own life, or if everything is just a catfish. Is seven years of constant communication via the phone too long to form a real bond? What would happen if they meet face to face?
