More DescriptionFollowing his dream, a young man buys the abandoned Strand Theatre in Akron, Ohio, and finds it inhabited by a number of benevolent and evil spirits. All of them "living" in unending, unbearable torment. The Strand, once a Catholic church, is the basis of decades of stories of missing people, murder, torture and hauntings all centered on a renegade Catholic priest who invoked his own retribution for even the smallest sin. The Trapped Souls of the Strand is based on a number of real spirits who haunt the Theatre 145, a former Baptist church, in Erie, Pennsylvania. Tina, the author's personal favorite, was friendly and cheerful, a trickster while the others were violent and destructive to differing degrees.
