The caption used to head this is - Global Warming, Climate Change, a new Ice Age, a world flood, and more.In other parts of the world nations are fighting for dominance. There seems to be this challenge to be found at the top of the food chain - one Super power to rule all. There is a constant flexing of muscle, who will it be - USA, China, Russia, a United Nations?Over time the conspiracy theorists have blamed it on secret societies using their secret handshakes, hand motions and symbols. Money is their power and they use this to control the movements of nations, the implementation of wars. The captions used to smoke out such secret societies - The Illuminati, Freemasons with their various degrees of order, the New World Order, 666, etc.Another explanation for our dire state is the diversity of Spiritual powers. Each one claiming to be the - mouth of, hand of, church of, body of ... God. The first world controlling religious power was (so it is assumed) the Jewish people, then the Catholics, next Protestants then the Ecumenical movement. Other spiritual movement somehow ignored or forgotten are - Hindu's with their teaching of immortal souls, truth that is eternal; Muslim's with their "Jihad" holy wars, Daily prayers, Pilgrimages to Mecca; Buddhism the way of enlightenment, Karma, and Reincarnation.The Bible has this to say about earth - all nations are drinking "the maddening wine of her adulteries". (Revelation 14:8) All nations are "filled with wonder and followed the beast". (Revelation 13:3) The earth "was plunged into darkness". (Revelation 16:10) "... demonic spirits that perform signs ... go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty".
