More DescriptionWhat does the fighting of two bull elephants in a game reserve within an international resort area have to do with a litter of poachers who try to kill a fully grown African lion? What do poachers crossing the porous border to hunt trophies have to do with romance? Then call in a West German chemical industries guru and a professional hunter trying to shoot dead a lion that is as difficult to spot as a white lion. Somewhere in the night, a hotel general manager is walking from his dinner date with a Caucasian girl called Shirley heading for his posh company residence. The single father of one is enjoying the evening coolness by foot. The radio is announcing danger as Dick walks leisurely through the night. The rumble and thunder of millions of litres of water constantly falling is a forgotten din as a lion tries to have Dick for supper. Then in the background is a stint Dick had during the war years in Australia where he met and married Brenda in an interracial marriage. Things come to head when he comes back to his country after the guns have fallen silent. Brenda digs in and is immovable like the Ayers Rock. Years later separated from Brenda he is dating Shirley. Who will take Dick's heart out of the three, a dangerous prowling male lion, Brenda or Shirley? When a man grows up in a society where he is schooled in African custom and he later obtains a master's degree, a high ranking post and a Caucasian wife, won't there be a clash of the modern and traditional?
