More Description'TRUTH' and 'HONESTY' are two simple words, having quite simple meaning. But as soon as one attaches 'welfare of human being' with these, one is sure to become confused and face problem.
The father of an an intelligent and honest boy said, 'My son, I am going to sleep. A gentleman would come to meet me. After he comes, you would tell him that I am not at home'. Can you find out an honest and intelligent answer for this boy?
Plato, in about four hundred BC taught people that on some occasions, not truth, but 'lies' ensure men's welfare. 'True and honest' was the policy of the Dravidian's of India. They looked for the creator and what they found was 'Phallus'. Naturally they started worshiping the 'creator'. (The archaeologists found many 'phallus-symbols' in Mohenjo Daro. Earlier they too those to have been 'the pressing stone for squeezing out juice'.)
The Dravidian's took their fathers as gods. Later, they attached to it the symbolic organ of their mothers. All these indicated their policy of 'truth and honesty'. But then they realized the problem, the possibility of humiliation by others. So, they decided to become dishonest. At first, they replaced the phallus by a man, 'Shiva', its 'so called' owner.
Then, when photography came into being, they placed the photograph of their respective parents in that position. Many thanks for their 'dishonest policy'. As of today, billions of the Hindus wake up in the morning with a little 'prayer for their parents and their looks in photograph '. However, some Hindus still look for 'phallus'.
For genuine reason Malik, the fifth Umayyad Caliph is considered the ever-highest symbol of 'Truth and Honest'. He brought the 'sacred writings' from Makkah. After he came to learn its meaning, he faced a situation similar to what the Dravidians faced with 'phallus'. The Dravidians became dishonest, but Malik remained honest. He published the pages 'exactly in their original form', of course with little additions. This book is now considered as the greatest, authentic and divine book of his religion. However, the world is still waiting to see, how things happen in the world due to his 'super honesty'.
After the age of Malik was gone, the experts had to take numerous measures to 'manage' the odd situations. Some of those were brutal and inhumane. Then, quite unexpectedly, one day, the strong wall of resistance was broke.
It happened so, because Science invented and offered a cheap and easy system of "internet-pdf-website" facilities. Various publications published the authentic translations of the book in all prominent languages. It opened up the path for all to know what was written there in the great book published by Malik. Reading and understanding the book in known language made some to feel good, some, bad and most others, astonished.
We know, the world would enjoy more and more of the positive benefits of the contribution of Science in future. But we do not know how many Samuel Paty's would be beheaded before that. .
