VON NEUMANN'S DAY: Jake Summers is an astronomer who suddenly finds himself banned from working. With no explanation given he seeks solace in a bar where he meets Nancy Kitson, a young lady fascinated by space. Jake promises to take Nancy to the observatory but that is the last thing either of them remember. But someone knows something because Jake and Nancy are being followed. They make a run for it, not knowing why they are fleeing or who it is coming after them. Then, Nancy's memory starts to return...
