More DescriptionWhat does God say in the Bible that He did when He created the heavens and the earth? It was the author's first year teaching biology and Genesis in a Christian high school. He realized he did not know how to reconcile the two. He knew the gap theory, but a first creation of life, then its destruction is not in the Bible. Then he heard young earth creationist Henry Morris lecture on creation and the flood. His insightful theory was almost right, but one key claim did not match the Bible. Later, he heard astrophysicist Hugh Ross lecture on old earth creationism. But one of his claims did not match the Hebrew of Genesis 1 that he was studying under John Sailhamer, the originator of the historical land creationism theory. And one of Sailhamer's claims did not fit the Bible well either. He decided to study in Hebrew and Greek the over one hundred Bible creation texts. A two-stage creation began to emerge. In this book, he record his search and study of key science concepts about the universe, and then the claims of ten major creation theories. He identify their most Biblical insights, and join these insights into a consistent creation theory. These major theories are 1. pre-creation chaos; 2. title or summary; 3. literary framework; 4. initial chaos; 5. young earth scientific creationism; 6. day-age, old earth, progressive creationism; 7. theistic big bang and relativistic days; 8. creation revealed in six days; 9. gap or creation-ruin-restoration; 10. historical land creationism; and then the unified theory 11. two stage Biblical creation. This unified theory matches the over one hundred Bible creation texts, the most Biblical insights of the ten creation theories, and the best attested discoveries about the universe. \nIncluded are indexes and 12 diagrams illustrating major creation theories.
