Whether its gossip or empathy, now that the two lovers have finished college, they are expected to get married. Uninhibited by actual knowledge, social media and the Ladies Gossip Club enthusiastically debate all aspects of the wedding, from where the newlyweds should live, to when they should have children. Maggie and Brent could simply ignore the mostly well-meaning commentary and enjoy the charming PumpkinFest. That would be sensible, and that's what their friends Samantha and Irv are doing.
