More DescriptionSince many centuries the United States of America has been a country of Immigrants. Immigrants have made America a booming economy and the "Shiny City" on the hill. But in today's United States of America, the talk about Immigrants has changed. The rhetoric is more negative, hurtful and discouraging. The immigration policy has not had a facelift since almost three decades and the policy makers, executive branch of the Government and politicians have not given a real thought to this issue nor have made conscious efforts to solve the problem. In today's politically charged negative environment towards the immigrants, the emotional side of the problem they face, the real hardship they face while coming to the USA and trying to settle in an Unknown world is forgotten. Their contributions and importance to the building of the USA has been forgotten. The book portrays the emotional side by giving true stories of two immigrant families. It also gives important data on the population of the immigrants and their contribution to society. Data on Dreamers and the issues they face are highlighted along with their contribution to the US economy.Organization like TheDream.US has taken a big step towards helping Dreamers succeed in getting a degree so that they can increase their earnings and help better the situation of their family, community and the country they call home, the United States of America. The important role played by Donald E. Graham and the other Co-founders and the donors have been highlighted along with roles played by the CEO's of companies like Microsoft and Apple who have hired Dreamers and have committed themselves to the cause of the Dreamers. The authors hope that after reading this book, the readers will make an effort to reach out their representatives and urge to help dreamers and their parents and try to be sympathetic towards the immigrants and acknowledge their contribution to our nation. This book is a joint effort by three immigrants to the United States of America.
