More DescriptionThis is the first volume of the new and revised second edition of the original second book in the Visigothic Saga,. Taking up where the first book left off, King Sigurd and his people are in a terrible struggle for their very lives against Adawulf Hister Carpathia, a sorcerer, and megalomaniac who has established the Midgard Empire, seeking to bring about Ragnarok and the final war of the gods. However, from out of the west comes Dithranti, White Wizard of the West with an army of Celts to join the fight. He is joined by the Faun Aesop, who is the White Wizard of the Centre Midgard, as well as Yonas, a Dwarf who is the White Wizard of the South. With Byock, the White Wizard of the East already there, the White Wizard of the North, Yoshael, and his Army of Elves will sweep in from out of Alfheim to join in a battle that will decide the fate of all Midgard for a thousand years. In the meanwhile, the lad Sigmund the Volsung and Princess Eileza of the Dwarves have fallen in love, two young teenagers whose love for one another goes beyond all loves ever known and they will stand together against the forces which would tear them apart and break their hearts. It is an age of Wizards, Kings, and a story of young love set in the backdrop of a dramatic landscape and breathtaking vistas.
