More DescriptionDue to technology advancement and the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic, the digital workplace transformation has become the topic of a variety of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary studies. Unquestionably, the manner of working is evolving; therefore, the workplace of today is notably different from the workplace previously . The COVID-19 epidemic has fundamentally transformed our established working norms into more flexible, contemporary alternatives. It has ushered in the era of hybrid work arrangements, which are being embraced in various forms by businesses worldwide. A hybrid work paradigm is a system in which workers work partially in an office and partially remotely, depending on the needs of the business and overall productivity. This e-book provides a creative introduction to the pertinent topics and dynamics of work in the new normal environment. Though hybrid working is not a totally novel concept, it has gained prominence in response to global pandemic issues, challenging the notion that an office is only a physical location. The hybrid workplace is now a permanent variable, particularly in the technology industries, and businesses that have not already done so are adjusting their business strategies to accommodate this new style of working. There is research and an increasing number of individual anecdotes indicating that remote work increases performance and productivity, in addition to providing greater work flexibility. Even if there is a growing desire for remote work, particularly from digital talent and required internet employees, there is also a lingering commitment to physical offices. Similarly, hybrid work models provide profitable potential and advantages to all businesses, particularly small-scale start-ups, in terms of borderless recruiting, a flexible workforce, fewer overhead expenses, and access to an endless talent pool. The potential to create flexible work schedules with solutions adapted to the needs of teams and even individuals is an additional advantage. Clearly, a lack of investment in remote or hybrid work models will impede not just productivity but also growth prospects. The ongoing movement from physical to virtual workspaces has altered the nature of the workplace. Companies that recognise and accept it will follow the herd along a path of rapid expansion.
