More Description"The coronavirus came. And we had to lockdown. No going to school. No going to town"...Surely a time for family fun? But whilst other kids enjoy rainbow cakes, garden camping, crazy haircuts and other family activities, Jasmine's mother is ill and in bed. Whilst others enjoy weeks of lockdown full of fun activities at home, Jasmine is unable to do so as her sick mother is resting in bed. Explore how Jasmine and her brothers have a different experience and learn a very valuable lesson about family, love and what is really important. FROM THE AUTHOR: This children's picture book is based on our covid story during lockdown. I wrote this story after getting very sick for a very long time with the awful virus during lockdown. Lying in bed for weeks on end, as a mother of 3 young children I felt incredibly guilty about not being able to play, engage or do fun things with my children. Apologising to my oldest daughter Jasmine, she immediately replied "mummy you don't need to apologise, all I wish for is for you to get better". It taught me a very valuable lesson about love and caring. Lying in bed I began to draw and write this little book for my children to remember this time...A first book written by a stay at home mum who got sick during lockdown and felt her kids were being let down... But soon realised, what is really important in life..NHS*** 50% of the author's profits will be donated to the amazing NHS who helped us during this journey **
