In the world of high finance and politics, it's well known that big rewards are achieved only by taking big risks. Mike Brennan thought he understood these risks but he has no way of knowing that he's being offered up as the perfect pawn when the authorities get too close to uncovering a shadowy organization that has been in operation for nearly three quarters of a century. Unfortunately for them, there's something about him they don't know. He's not willing to take the fall for them.
