Lynn Kurland is a best-selling American writer of historical or time travel romance novels. She is an only child. Her first attempts at writing came she was five years old and living in Hawaii.

Stardust of Yesterday was published in 1996, winning two RITA awards. To date, she has published seventeen full-length novels, with her 17th and 18th due out in January and April 2010, respectively.
