Many people believe that cheating is as simple as keeping secrets from a spouse or significant other. Cheating can destroy the security of a partnership. It eliminates the parts of the relationship which contains the aspect of "We" or "Us." When a person cheats, the couple is no longer as one. The relationship separation evolves into different individuals with a minimum of one person questioning if the unity still exists.
